The Atlas Ecosite mosque is a place of contemplation for our guests and the staff of the estate.
It is dedicated to Averroes, an illustrious Andalusian philosopher, doctor and jurist from the 12th century, a major figure in Arab-Muslim thought.
Ibn Rochd, known as Averroes (1126-1198), was a universal thinker born in Cordoba. His commentaries on Aristotle profoundly influenced medieval European philosophy and contributed to the transmission of Greek knowledge to the West.
